Hill Country Getaway

Last but not least... This home, located in Fayetteville, TX is the fifth in my series for Judy and Rob.

It was built in 1870 and moved from downtown Fayetteville to 7 miles out of town and restored. At the turn of the century it was operated and lived in by the US postmaster. It was once called the Hottman Estates.

Judy and Rob just restored the inside again this past year and hope it will become a favorite getaway for their family.
For Christmas, they gave each of their daughters a copy of this sketch along with a key, to use it when they wish and make it a home away from home!

"And where we love is home, home that our feet may leave,
but not our hearts...
The chain may lengthen but it never parts."
Oliver Wendall Holmes, Sr.
